Speaker 2 : It's impressive. During MOS, I have done many activities. I like studying here. Everything is great!
Speaker 1 : I agree with you. I have experienced the same thing. What Impresses me more, is the disciplines of both students and teachers
Speaker 2 : Yes, its quite different compared to studying at junior high school last year. here I feel adulthood in thinking and behaving
Speaker 1 : Right. Studying at high school is the starting point when we prepare ourselves for the future
Speaker 2 : By the way, do you know that besides studying formal lessons and extra curriculum, we have English Day Program?
Speaker 1 : Yes, classmates tell me about it. will you explain it to me?
Speaker 2 : Local Authority, DKI Administration suggests that High School students in Jakarta should improve their skills in English communication
Speaker 1 : Well, its a good idea. so, what does English Day Program offer us to fulfil it?
Speaker 2 : It offers Topical English Conversation in the form of dialogue. it applies on fridays twice a month, or once in two weeks
Speaker 1 : Thats fantastic! I like it. will you be my partner to practise it on fridays?
Speaker 2 : By all means. Remember, practise makes perfect. I'm sure if we do it frequently, we'll be able to speak fluently

Speaker 1 : I feel bored to study time after time. what anout you?

Speaker 2 : I feel the same. but then I decide to omit this feeling
Speaker 1 : What makes you take such a solid decision?
Speaker 2 : I realize what I study every day contributes much advantage for my future
Speaker 1 : I see. Actually, what should a student do to be interested in studying?
Speaker 2 : He must be motivated. I mean he must have strong motivation
Speaker 1 : What does motivation mean? can you tell me?
Speaker 2 : Motivation means a basic reason that drives someone to do something attentively and seriously
Speaker 1 : How do we know that a student really has a strong motivation in his study
Speaker 2 : There are some indicators which shows his strong motivation
Speaker 1 : Can you explain those indicators please?
Speaker 2 : For instance, he is always present in the class and never miss the lessons. his scores in the exams are usually at the top ranks. all these facts will lead him to be successful in his study and to have better future
Speaker 1 : Oh. thats really great. I should follow this idea
Speaker 2 : Well done. we hope all the students in our school are really motivated to study

Speaker 2 : No, I dont. I've never smoked any cigarettes since I was a child. What about you?

Speaker 1 : I used to smoke. but I have given up smoking. I stopped smoking two years ago
Speaker 2 : Why did you stop it? can you tell me your reason?
Speaker 1 : Actually, smoking is dangerous. it really endangers our health. if we dont realize this fact, it will kill us
Speaker 2 : I've heard the warning often. but, what really makes smoking dangerous?
Speaker 1 : You know, the tobacco that we smoke contains much poison such as CO2 gas, Tar and Nicotine. They are all addicted substances
Speaker 2 : What do you mean with addicted subtances?
Speaker 1 : It means once you smoke, it will affect your desire to smoke more often. It becomes your daily habit until you become the victim os some fatal diseases
Speaker 2 : What diseases that a smoker usualy suffers from?
Speaker 1 : He suffers from Lungs cancer, heart disease and hypertension
Speaker 2 : Oh my god! They are all fatal diseases that can kill us sooner than we expect
Speaker 1 : Sure. thats why as students who have clear ideas for better future, we must not smoke any cigarettes
Speaker 2 : I agree with the regulations that prohibit students smoke at school
Speaker 1 : I do too. Its all for the sake or our health and clean suroundings
